David Osmond
DAVID OSMOND has show business in his genealogy. His father Alan was the eldest brother of the world-famous Osmond Family. He is the fourth son of Alan and Suzanne Osmond.
David has had some incredible milestones in his entertainment career – from performing onstage at Wembley Arena to singing at Harpo Studios, for Oprah. When uncle, Donny Osmond, starred in Andrew Lloyd Weber’sJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the producers selected David to be his understudy. He later replaced Donny in the lead role, as Joseph.
David is a spokesperson for multiple sclerosis (MS) and continues to successfully overcome the physical challenges of the disease. David hosted the competition show, StarBiz, which benefited numerous non-profit charities, and in 2009, was featured on American Idol. David was also voted “2011 Artist of the Year” by Stereofame.com.
But, David’s greatest accomplishment is being a family man. He married the former Valerie McClain, and has two beautiful daughters, Saffron and Azalea.
