HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PERFORMING?

"I have been studying classical voice and piano for about five years or since I was seven. It wasn’t long before opportunities to sing at local fundraisers began to appear."

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSICAL STYLE?

"My first music teacher, Leitha Christe was very old school in her approach. She agreed to only take me on as a voice student if I studied piano as well. She felt that it would help create a total musician who didn’t learn melody and style by listening to recordings. I guess that means that now when I learn a piece I am doing it in an original way."
