HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PERFORMING?

"My first solo performance was when I was nine, but I like to consider my first real performances to be in the summer of 2012. This was the summer in which I attended a jazz camp and met my current band members, and realized my passion for all things music."

WHO WOULD YOU SAY HAS MOST INSPIRED YOU?

"My mother has definitely been my biggest inspiration in all of my musical endeavors, as well as every other aspect of my life. She taught me to be cautiously independent in a way that most teenagers don’t get the privilege of experiencing, both as an artist and her daughter. I am beyond lucky to have been raised by this wonderful woman."

HOW DID YOU GET INTERESTED IN MUSIC IN THE FIRST PLACE?

"I’ve been interested in music since I could talk, but it was not until fourth grade that I decided I wanted to be a singer and picked up voice. My dad was a drummer for a little while, and my aunt and uncle are both working musicians, so I suppose that influenced me a little bit, but it was mostly just instinct."
