Jodi Applegate

JODI APPLEGATE is a veteran broadcaster who has hosted the Weekend Edition of “Today” on NBC and was a primary anchor at MSNBC. She co-hosted “The FOX 25 Morning News” at the FOX affiliate in Boston, covering major stories throughout New England.  She also co-hosted “Good Day New York” on FOX5 TV, in New York City.

Most recently, Jodi was the solo 5pm and 10pm news anchor on PIX11 TV, in New York. Earlier in her career, Jodi anchored local news in Phoenix, Arizona and in Reno, Nevada.

She is a frequent guest on various programs, appearing recently on ABC’s “The View”. In addition, she guest hosts on talk radio, with numerous appearances on WRKO Radio in Boston and on WOR and WABC radio, in New York.

With her early roots in theatrical performing, Jodi is thrilled to be a part of “Community Auditions”.  While in college, she sang and danced in stage productions at both Busch Gardens and Hersheypark – and  even had a brief performance, on Broadway, in the musical “Chicago”.

Jodi is married to broadcaster Michael Kay. They have 2 children, Caledonia and Charles.
